In a strong fight of seven rounds between Nigerian-British heavy weight world champion, Anthony Joshua and WBA mandatory challenger, Alexander Povetkin that show Anthony Joshua TKO Alexander Povetkin, but not before suffering a nasty nose break in the first round as the Russian challenger posed several threats at the early stages of the fight.
Anthony Joshua now retains his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavy weight championship belts.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has shut down the rumour making rounds that it froze the accounts of belonging to Davido and his uncle, Ademola Adeleke. The contestant representing Imo State at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant , Anita Ukah , has emerged the winner of this year ’s edition hosted by the duo, Ik Osakioduwa and Toke Makinwa at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Yenagoa, Bayless state.
