Mr P Beats Davido, Wins International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA)

Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P, has bagged his first award as a solo artist since the breakup of the group, Psquare, beating the likes of Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Cassper Nyovest, Medikal, Black Coffee. The singer was named best international male artiste at the 2018 edition of the International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) which took place on Saturday at the Hilton Hotel in London, UK. Mr P, who seems excited about the award, took to his Instagram page to share the good news. He wrote: “this is just the beginning,” adding that “my very first award as a solo act! You guys made this happen. Slow and Steady but surely! God is great. “I was hoping to be in London but as you’re aware, I’m in the middle of my US/Canadian Tour at the moment! I will be by to pick up my award personally. “Thanks again and I’d like to dedicate this award to my super fans and my awesome son Cameron who’s birthday is today. Double celebration for sure. More coming. “Team P this one is for Us!

Anthony Joshua Defeats Alexander Povetkin

In a strong fight of seven rounds between Nigerian-British heavy weight world champion, Anthony Joshua and WBA mandatory challenger, Alexander Povetkin that show Anthony Joshua TKO Alexander Povetkin, but not before suffering a nasty nose break in the first round as the Russian challenger posed several threats at the early stages of the fight. Anthony Joshua now retains his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavy weight championship belts.

Miss Imo, Anita Ukah, Wins MBGN, 2018

The contestant representing Imo State at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant , Anita Ukah , has emerged the winner of this year ’s edition hosted by the duo, Ik Osakioduwa and Toke Makinwa at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Yenagoa, Bayless state. Recall that whoever takes the crown, also will represent Nigeria at the Miss World 2018 pageantry scheduled for December 8 in Sanya and the first runner up will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe Pageantry The first runner - up is miss Lagos, Aramide Oluwatobi Lopez, the second runner - up was Danielle Jatto of Edo, the third runner - up, was Miss Sokoto, Valentina Ogbonaya  , the fourth runner - up, Tolulope Mary Ayanfalu (Miss Ogun ) and Miss Kwara, Damilola Adeshina emerged the fifth runner - up.

Kemi Olunlunye :Linda Ikeji faked her pregnancy

This is starting to get out of hand, Linda just had her baby boy and her popular rival journalist, Kemi Omololu Olulunyo is insisting on her stance that Linda has been wearing a fake pregnancy bump and actually had a baby through sorrugacy, she claims her sources were highly placed celebrities that work in Linda Ikeji studios with Linda. Ofcourse the allegations are all very ridiculous and just hard to believe, but the tenacity that madam Kemi Olulunyo is using to spread this fake pregnancy news is something else.

EFCC Faults Claims of Freezing Accounts of the Adelekes

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has shut down the rumour making rounds that it froze the accounts of belonging to Davido and his uncle, Ademola Adeleke. Clarifying this in a statement shared by its spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, the agency said there was no truth in the claims being circulated on social media, adding that it was a campaign designed to taint their image. The statement read: Quote “The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been drawn to media publications alleging that it had frozen the account of Senator Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the September 22, 2018 Osun State governorship election and those of his family members, including the musician, David Adeleke. The Commission calls on members the public to disregard the report, which is patently false and contrived to dress the agency with a partisan garb in the unfolding political contest in Osun State. Bobrisky Deported from the UK

Self-acclaimed Nigerian barbie, Bobrisky was recently denied entry into the United Kingdom where he was scheduled to hold a birthday party and have a meet and greet event with some of his fans. On arrival at the Heathrow airport in London, the cross dresser was held at a detention camp and subsequently put on a return flight back to Lagos.  It was gathered that Bobrisky was denied entry into London because his visa doesn’t permit him to work in the country as he was poised to make money through his appearances during his visit to the country.
